Ten Acres House

It was beautiful and quite location. I wanted to go to Scottish highland so it was far from Sauchi town.

Perfect for what we needed. Easy walking distance to see our relatives in Sauchie and Alloa. The house had all the amenities we needed. Very clean.

It may be that the house is not used that often, the only downside was that the house smelled very musty and we had to keep the windows open and patio and door to air it.

It’s spacious, well located in a quiet area with shops and supermarkets in a reasonable driving distance. Easy check-in and out.

The apartment is well maintained, but there is a bit wear and tear, e.g. the water tap in the kitchen is getting loose, the rug and the sofa are a bit dusty. The hot water supply of the electric shower upstairs was a bite weak.

The property was beautifully finished with everything we needed for a short stay. Comfy beds & sofa bed in the livingroom.

The house is well appointed with everything you think you need and more. Lots of nice little touches - coffee, tea, UHT milk, biscuits, small soaps and shampoo, clear instructions on wifi and appliances.

The house was a bit cold (14 degrees) when we got there and (-2 degrees outside) we found details for the heating and got it sorted out so it reached a comfortable temperature within a couple of hours.

The location for me close to main hospital. The decor . The quality of furnishings and bedding. A very comfortable bed . A wonderful lack of overdone signs that some places seem to specialise in .

For myself just the parking but I always found a space .

The house was very spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The furniture was immaculate as well, with the beds in particular being very comfortable. The central heating ensured the property was warm throughout which added to the comfort factor. The house was very well equipped in the kitchen, which meant that we were able to be completely self-sufficient. Location wise, it is situated at the edge of a small housing estate just outside the main town of Alloa, so it was very quiet at nights with limited traffic and noise. With family in Alloa the location was perfect for us. Overall, a great stay and I look forward to having an opportunity to return at some point.

Although it didn't affect this stay, there is extensive building works taking place in the green space next to the estate. As such, I suspect another housing estate is being put in which is a shame and spoils some of the countryside views from the house.

Very well presented accommodation. All kitchen utensils there to use. The house is clean and of a nice standard.
