AUMy partner and I stayed here for a week so he could easily access the surf spot at Barra De La Cruz. We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs and we could see the break from our balcony. We spent a ton of time in the hammocks which always had a nice breeze. The staff were so accommodating - they supplied more than enough drinking water and even brought in a coffee machine to the kitchen at one point. It's a basic stay (think more like camping than a hostel) and it can get hot without aircon but for the price you pay for where you are on a world class break, there's no complaints at all, we loved our stay!

IEIt is in an amazing location if you are surfing Barra, views of the wave from the balcony and a ten minute walk down to the beach! It’s also in a lovely natural setting, with loads of hummingbirds and other wildlife around. Santiago and his sons were very welcoming hosts, they even brought us on a walk to a beautiful beach and river mouth!

CHDie Aussicht ist der Hammer. Direkt auf den surfspot und dieser ist in gehdistanz erreichbar. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Das wlan war vom Regen kaputt und die ganze region hat kein netz - sprich kein Internet. Aber ihr sohn hat uns 20min ins Dorf gefahren extra um kurz nachrichten zu senden, im dunkeln! Die dusche und WC haben praktisch kein licht und es hat ultra viele Mücken in der Küche abends.

MXSuch an amazing view from the terrace and grounds- and. the little path to walk to the beach made it so simple and easy. Letitia and Santiago are very friendly and I would definately stay there again
Nothing to do with the owners, but thanks to the recent rains and floods, the road there was a bit of a challenge. If you're an experienced rider you'll be fine but if you're nervous, ring or message the property and ask for a pickup in their 4 wheel buggy. You can also park your own bike at the beach, and walk up to El Cielo by the little path, and avoid the road totally.
