Friendly welcome. Family run business and they live in private sections of the home. Gorgeous home and grounds. Room was really comfortable with extra touches like robes and nice toiletries. Communal guest lounge with kitchen was great as we visited in the off season so not many food options open nearby in the evening. Host advised us ahead is time to bring food so we just picked up some Soups from a Co-op that we could microwave. Breakfast is available at the onsite Cafe which had a good range of options at very reasonable prices. Full Scottish breakfast was only £10 with unlimited tea or coffee .Well worth it and it was one of the best cooked breakfasts we've had in Scotland. The Cafe also had a range of cake options that are all home baked. Best Bakewell tart we've ever had plus lemon sponge. You can't beat home made cakes. And there was a lift ...a novelty in Scotland. Also an onsite craft shop. Bird feeders just outside the Cafe windows so we ate our breakfast watching all the beautiful little birds eat theirs. Loved our stay here

The long driveway through an avenue of trees was wonderful. The house is surrounded by woodland and pastures, well away from road noise. I stayed on the second floor with a very heavy suitcase so the lift was a welcome surprise. The house and my room were spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Lynn and Jason are wonderful, welcoming hosts. I had the feeling nothing would have been too much trouble. I thought the pricing was great value. I would stay again without hesitation.

Comfortable and clean. Lovely old property and grounds. Lots of wildlife around. The owners were very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Lovely breakfast.

Not a criticism but an observation- the shower flow was quite slow but appreciate that it’s likely due to long pipes in a large building.
