Our stay was simply exceptional from the very first moment! We were welcomed with a warm smile and genuine kindness that made us feel immediately at ease. Maurizio and his wife are, without a doubt, the best hosts we’ve ever had – always available, attentive, and incredibly caring, making us feel truly at home. They gave us great recommendations about the city, including the best places to eat and what to visit, which made our experience even more special and authentic. Their attention to detail was constant, and at the end, they even surprised us with some lovely souvenirs, showing how thoughtful and dedicated they are to their guests. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back! Thank you for everything!

The apartment was nice and clean, 50 meters walking from the metro station Cibali which was great, because we left the car by the apartment and went to the centre of Catania by metro, the tickets were surprisingly cheap. There is also very good pizzeria and Coop market very close. Our host was very nice and helpful, we stayed in touch by WhatsApp during our stay.

The parking was little bit tricky, as the road next to the one with the apartment was quite busy, but still, we could find the parking place around. It's ok for an experienced driver and much better than in the centre.

We might have just hit an unfortunate window of events but we couldn’t use the washing machine since there was no drying rack in the flat, also no detergent. One day the water was not working at all, the host was really nice and he prepared some water barrels for us beforehand in case that happens, but still you don’t want this happening to you, it’s not camping.

The property is super clean and comfortable. It is nicely equipped, it has a separate bathroom, kitchen and a bedroom. The location is probably great, just near a Metro station, which takes you to the center in no time. We came with car, and we were able to easily park just outside on the main street. Also, the host is very kind and supportive with whatever questions you might have. There are also some very artsy paintings on the walls!

The owner was very friendly and communicative, always reachable, gave us detailed instructions on how to enter the property. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a short stay (towels, small shampoo, showel gel, hair dryer, etc.). Parking situation is much better, than in the city center and it's very close to the metro station. Good price/value ratio.

Bed mattress was not the best.

Everything was very nice. We had to make check-in at 13:00 but we arrived much earlier and the owner gave us the possibility to make check-in at 10:00 a.m, it was pleasant. The apartment very clean, confortable and there are all necessary things which we had needed for one week of living. Also it was very pleasant to get a lot of different gifts from the owner, especially powder, drink water, tea, coffee, Wi-Fi portable router (bellow more information) etc. for several days. His care about us was on the high level, every morning and evening he asked us by what's app about our impressions and our plans. He recommended us were better to go for a walk, were we can have a delicious meal for reasonable price, supermarkets and others things which we asked him. The apartment is located in good zone, we rented a car, and always we could find parking place, in front of the door we couldn't park because there is very narrow for that car (in Sicily a big problem with parking place). There's a subway station in two-three minutes from the apartment. Also there is the bus station near apartment, busses trevel very often to the city center. We came from Moldova for one week and we didn't have the internet there. But the owner gave us Wi-Fi portable router and we could trevel around Sicily with internet, it was very pleasant and useful. We all week remembered him and said thanks for the router (only you need to charge it after 4-5 hours). The mark is 100 from 10 😁. I will recommend this apartment to all my relatives and friends.

I was charged for breakfast that was not provided. Booking.com refused to acknowledge the wrong information advertised on their website.

Parking was not available on the main street. We have arrived past midnight and I parked in the narrow alley beside the property. The property is a 1 bedroom apartment located on the street level. The people above had the TV running loud until 3 AM. The owner called me at 1:30 AM and woke me up to move the car out on the main street. I explained that there is no way to park it there but he didn't care and insisted for me to move it!!!!! I spent the next hour to try and find a parking spot in a city I didn't know. And yes, Catania is dangerous at night time. Outside on the main street there were piles of garbage and very busy with traffic even at night time. Overall - DO NOT TRUST THE reviews and booking.com score. It is an absolute scam as neither parking or breakfast are provided
