GBThe property and location were lovely. They were both pretty and peaceful. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and was always on hand to help and to suggest places to visit. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I opted for breakfast every morning at the accommodation and nothing was too much trouble. The beautifully kept gardens were ideal to sit in and were perfect for my dog to sniff around and play in. The nearby town of Montgomery was very friendly and beautifully kept. It was a delight to walk around with lots of trail walks and a lovely selection of eateries and little quaint shops to browse around. The accommodation was in a very good location to visit towns such as Shrewsbury, and Ludlow and it was surrounded by lots of stunning countryside.
There wasn't anything to not like.

It was chilly when we arrived and it would have been nice to have a small heater to warm our room a little?
GBGBIf I could score it 100 out of 10 I would. Carol is a very special lady with a very kind heart. We arrived much later than we planned to due to traffic and Carol sat up until very late at night to let us in. She cooked vegetarian breakfast for us on both days. Cooked to absolute perfect might I add and on the second day there was even a yummy cheesy Yorkshire pudding/omelette using recipe that she had and cooked it especially for us and packed some for us to take home!! In fact, absolutely everything Carol did was above and beyond. We were also greeted by her gorgeous cat Archie who she rescued after he was abandoned. He was delightfully friendly. Carols house is IMMACULATE. Not a spec of dirt ANYWHERE and the decor is picture-perfect farmhouse aesthetic and so unbelievably pretty everywhere you look. We even had a roaring open fire at breakfast. Heavenly indeed. It was warm and cozy throughout. The location is in such a beautiful area. We even had to drive through a field of sheep to get to the house which I thought was so lovely as I'm not from the countryside. The house is very safe and secure. The room was very clean and spacious. It was so bright and airy by day but beautifully cozy by night with luxurious thick curtains on the door and windows to really make the room feel comforting and homely. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the bed linen was soft and smelled glorious. There was an abundance of hot drinks to choose from in the room and Carol even left us a jug of fresh milk for the drinks too. We had clean fresh cups in the room every day too. There was a huge selection of information leaflets about the area and attractions nearby. There was a big TV, a DVD player with dvds and a sky tv box. You can sit in a big comfortable reclining armchair to watch it. The bathroom was absolutely spotlessly clean with a wonderful shower and was even fully stocked with toiletries incase you forgot any of your own.
Everything was truly perfect. There wasn't anything to dislike.
