Sea Spray Hotel

The location

We would like to highlight that the room we received was completely different from what was shown in the pictures. The listing clearly showed the double bed and single bed in the same room, which is the main reason we booked it. However, upon arrival, we found that the double bed was in one room and the single bed was in another. We were given the room called “Boudoir”, which was in the basement and did not have both beds in the same room as shown in the listing photos. My husband also raised concerns at the property and asked whether we could be moved to a different room, but he was informed that this was the only room available at the time. This arrangement was not suitable for us as we do not leave our baby alone in a separate room. As a result, one person had to sleep with the baby while the other had to sleep separately on the single bed. This badly disturbed our baby’s sleep, and none of us were able to rest properly. The next day, our baby even vomited due to the disturbed sleep and discomfort, and we had to check out and leave Brighton without being able to enjoy or do anything we had planned. Unfortunately, this completely spoiled our trip. While the basement location itself was already a setback, the main issue was that the room layout was completely different from the images shown in the listing, which we found unacceptable.

The property was very clean and well looked after. Room was lovely. Had a water dispenser but unfortunately it had not been charged , the fire sign was on but not completed do no idea if a fire where to go. these are the only reasons I would not rate this hotel excellent.

Breakfast great, location great but ...

... the room was really below any standard. The smallest toilet bowl I've seen in my life and very uncomfortable. Room was very tiny, almost no space for your luggage. For that price you can expect a bit more.

The sun that we have in England = amazing !!!

The heat + no wind at the beach !!!! But really dont try to do something... 😅
