Blue Lake Lodge - Lake Tekapo

Good location, stunning views

Lack of wardrobe or dresser space, no coffee table. No where to hang jackets. House looking tired.

Lovely spacious house with beautiful lake views from the Lounge and front bedroom windows. Plenty of seating inside and outdoors on the verandah. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses Two minute drive to village centre and restaurants. Would probably take about 10 mins to walk. Kitchen sink and bathrooms spotlessly clean

Sadly, although the kitchen sink area and worktops were clean, the kitchen floor had obviously not been swept or washed prior to our arrival. Shortly after we arrived, whilst making a drink, we accidently dropped some biscuits on the floor. We found a broom to sweep the crumbs up and was surprised to find dust and dirt coming up with the crumbs. We went on to sweep the whole floor and gathered quite a pile of dirt. See pic. No dustpan was available, so we had to use a shovel from outside to gather dust up.

Fabulous location, great decking, large house with lots of room

The location was superb the views were amazing

A bit expensive

oven cannot be used because the front cover cannot close others are good
