HRChiusdino is a beautiful and peaceful place on a hillside in Tuscany. I was enchanted by how clean everything is; it’s very pleasant to stay and walk through this small medieval town. The accommodation is very charming and offers a view of the Tuscan valleys and hills. Communication with the owner was very pleasant and clear. I have no complaints.
The internet speed could be better, but I believe it’s simply due to the signal and infrastructure.
USNot at all the properties fault, but there are no Taxis in town. In order to get a ride anywhere, you have to get a taxi from Siena. The cost for us to travel from Chiusdino to Tenuta di Papena (4 miles) was 125 euros, one way!!!
IEThis is a really gorgeous house, beautifully decorated and so clean. Coffee and tea provided and wine available to buy. Towels and body wash/ shampoo provided. Good aircon and fans. Stunning views in a quaint village. Check-in process was made very easy by the owner. Host always available via WhatsApp if needed.
The were no plates or bowls to serve food on.
USWe had a "bucket list" interest in staying in an authentic medieval village. This property is in the heart of an enchanting village that appears not to have changed in 1000 years. The property itself is completely updated on the inside for a comfortable stay. The host was also extremely responsive in helping us find parking, adjusting our check-in time when we had last minute delay, etc. Highly recommend; great value. Photos: 1.
