On a cherché la maison et reçu les infos pour les clefs au dernier moment alors je l'on était sur place en attendant la propriétaire

Super emplacement. Terrasse agréable. Hôte très réactive

1. Zwei Toilette aber nur eine Dusche, für 6 Personen sehr knapp. 2. Föhn hat leider nur 5 Minuten funktioniert, Die Decke von Spühlkasten der Toilette fällt immer runter, wenn man spült. 3. Man darf beim Kochen nicht gleichzeitig die elektrische Heizung anmachen, ansonsten fließt die Sicherung immer aus. 4. Kein Wäscheständer vorhanden, nur zwei Leine in der Terrasse (ohne Überdachung) , d. h. Beim Regenwetter kann man leider keine Klamotten waschen.

We recently spent a very comfortable Christmas at Casa Maria João as a family. From the outset, the communication with our host, Maria, was exemplary. She was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early after our morning flight, which was a tremendous help given we were travelling with young children. One of our primary concerns before arrival was cleanliness and the potential for garden insects, given the villa’s lovely outdoor space. I am pleased to say the house was spotless. Despite the host’s honest warning that garden life can occasionally wander indoors in the Algarve, we didn’t encounter any issues at all during our stay. The villa itself is very "homely." Maria was thoughtful enough to provide logs for the fireplace, making our winter evenings remarkably cosy. When we encountered a minor issue with the Wi-Fi signal not reaching the bedrooms, Maria was highly responsive and provided a booster promptly, which I was able to install without difficulty, resolving the matter entirely. We took great care of the property and felt very much at home. We would certainly recommend Casa Maria João to those looking for a clean, private, and well managed base in Lagos.
