Location was perfect, the unique property,

The temperature on arrival was extremely cold and unwelcoming,if we had not continually kept making a fire we would have been very cold. Sofa wasn’t comfortable, wet room was a nightmare as the bathroom was too small to accommodate the excess water and there was nowhere to hang your towel or clothes to prevent them getting wet when using the shower. The kitchen utensils were very limited, no utensils to use with the saucepans.

I've stayed at the Grain store several times. Accessing the property is so easy. The Grain store is beautifully decorated, lovely and cosy with everything you could need for a self catering stay provided. Te bed is so comfortable

The Grain House is such an amazing quirky property. Beautifully appointed, well equipped kitchen, great shower. The location is stunning, looking out onto open countryside. Plenty of parking and really easy to follow instructions for finding and accessing the property.

As mentioned in the property description the property is on a flight path with planes quite close and noisy (although limited overnight flights). I couldn't get the EV charge point to work (but that could have been my mistake)

Well appointed place, effort made to decorate well and it was very clean. Bed was fairly soft but comfy enough.

The location was two and a half miles from the runway at East Midlands airport. Between 11pm and 4am over 25 aircraft came in to land and flew very low (only a few hundred feet above) over the roof which kept us awake. Finally slept a couple of hours between 4am and 7am when we had to get up for a conference.

This was the best accommodation I have stayed in for a while! Quirky building with the most fabulous design and decor. Very homely and comfortable. Wood burning stove easy to light and very comfortable beds. Excellent communication from the host regarding directions and keys

Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Easy to find and gain access to the accommodation. Lovely setting. Fine attention to detail has been made for the furnishings, and everything was to a very high standard.

The grain store is on the flight path to Nottingham Airport, which means very low and loud planes taking off late into the evening and early. It didn't ruin our stay by any means, I actually enjoyed finding a tracker app to see where they were going, but I suspect it may become irritating if you were to stay for a longer period.
