The photos generally reflect reality, but they are taken in a very misleading way. The apartment has no separate bedroom at all. In fact, it is just one large room. The “bedroom” is separated from the main living area only by curtains.

The most important detail is that the apartment is not located in a hotel building, but in an office building, with offices operating throughout the day. These offices keep their doors open, meaning they are directly on the same floor. In the evening, you can expect noise until 10 p.m., strong enough to make your walls vibrate, and children sitting in the doorway of your apartment, screaming so loudly that you will barely be able to hear each other in the so-called suite’s living area. A dance studio is located directly wall-to-wall with these so-called suites. The dance studio also keeps its door open. Judging by how loudly the happy children scream, we can recommend the dance studio — and therefore these apartments — only if you are deaf or if you are one of the parents of those children. In addition to all this, the room furnishings and interior style are cheap, kitschy, and very basic. The bathroom fixtures are significantly outdated. Breakfasts are extremely poor, repetitive, and absolutely not worth sacrificing any culinary experiences you could have elsewhere on Madeira. Parking in the garage is offered for an entirely unappealing price, which is above average for this part of the city. On the very first day, we informed Booking.com us that the property does not meet the SUITE category — neither in terms of room count nor in terms of location, as a SUITE cannot be situated outside a hotel building. Unfortunately, Booking did not take any adequate follow-up action. If you are comfortable experimenting with a hotel costing over 100 euros per night, you can choose these apartments for your stay in Funchal and form your own impression.
