Cozy stay , comfy bed

I loved that tiny house located in an small alley. It's very quiet, clean and confortable. It's walking distance to the beach but be aware that the sea is wavy. It is also walking distance to a warung. The first night I slept in musty bed sheets, I immediately informed the owner and the next day the cleaner came to change them. Owner and staff are responsive.

I went there during the rainy season so I had to fight/chase with mosquitoes in the bed even though I used the mosquito net and repellent. The owner are not faulty that is simply nature but guests who can't stand mosquitoes should be aware. Anyway, in the house, there is also mosquito killer spray that can be used. Another thing that may be reconsidered is the fact that the 2 sliding doors that exit the entrance or the backyard leave a space between the door and the floor so insects and bigger animals can come in. I heard and saw one mouse/rat at night so I believe it could get in through the doors. Maybe I was unlucky but for sure it can happen.

Location and pool

The WiFi was good and the decor was nice inside. The lady who helped us with the lockbox code was nice too.

The shower was a horror show - centipedes and black mold all over the walls.

Very clean an everythink I needed an if I needed help the owner helped me would stay here again thanks so much 👌👌

Property is small but a 2 story, cute dolls house. Nice decor and pleasant enough and def enough space for a couple. Maybe small for 2 friends. Large fridge to add your groceries. Bathroom is a lovely outside one.

Location is, currently - in October 2024 - in the middle of nowhere. You will need a bike - if you ride - or be willing to get grabs (ubers) everywhere which are not easy to come by as Canggu gets seriously busy. The grabs/gojeks have no idea where the property is so often get lost - which happened to me on arrival and it was hard to communicate the location due to my lack of bahasa. Your google maps should work though but the grab/gojek ones are not good so provide your own guidance. That said, Canggu is growing so rapidly that these issues may not be one over the next 12 months. I just wish this information in the listing so I could make the choice that would have suited us better.
