Malathi Wooden House - Garden Pool View

- La chambre principale est bien spacieuse (et il y a aussi une 2e chambre à l’étage) - Le calme au vue de son emplacement (on entendait le chant des oiseaux et des insectes, c’était bien agréable) - La villa est proche de plusieurs bons restaurants, de café, d’une supérette, d’une laverie, de salons de massage… elle n’est pas au centre mais a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour ! - L’hospitalité et la disponibilité du host (de l’organisation de private car, de la location de siège bébé etc) - Un bon rapport qualité/prix

- Les vérouilles de certaines fênetres dans notre villa étaient abîmées, mais si on sentait en sécurité, cela ne nous a pas assuré d’y laisser nos papiers lorsque nous nous sommes absentés (il n’y a pas de coffre fort non plus) - Il y avait pas mal de fourmis dans la salle d’eau, on y a aussi vu quelques cafards (la villa est située entre les champs et les bois, c’est surement du à cela)

The architectural styling and details. The location it’s a bit north of Ubud so it’s quieter. We had the whole house to ourselves and nobody bothered us to buy anything. It was the perfect writer/artist retreat.

There was nothing I didn’t like. It’s not a cocktail in the pool place which suited us fine.

The host was very nice and helpful. The street is quiet. The jungle is very close. Laundry and drinking water can be bought from the host.

The older, wooden house is located on a property with 2 other villas, the pool is shared. Frogs and small geckos are usual guests in the house once it gets dark outside. The street of the property is a bit far from the main street, walking is dangerous due to traffic.

Very quiet, great location surrounded by great restaurants within a few minutes walk. The pool was lovely and facilities were great.

downstairs room beds were quite springy and upstairs room bed had little support. Upstairs room was also very hot during the day but has been provided fan as well as A/C

Amazing villa with a view and access to the pool. Multiple restaurants are present within walking distance for lunch and dinner. Within a 5 km radius of Ubud Market and Ubud Palace, you can easily grab a cab/bike or have a leisurely walk from the villa to reach the above-mentioned destinations. The laundry system is also extremely efficient and value for money, for IDR 70K for a entire basket of clothes being washed, ironed and returned within 24 hours. The host was easily approachable and went out of her way to help us out, even helping us find a place to buy Sambhal Sauce.

There were three major sore points during our stay at the villa, which if resolved would make this place perfect. 1. Payment for Drinking water (IDR 40k for 40 litres). Basic drinking water is expected without payment, and for a property which would regularly have visitors, a water dispenser should be feasible. 2. The kitchen was not fully equipped and functional. There were rice cookers, pans, crockery and utensils. However, there were no basic items such as salt and oil which could be used to cook food. Also, no microwave for heating/making instant food items. 3. Cleaning of the room was done every 2 days which is extremely good. But, during the cleaning, the used towels were not removed/replaced in the bathroom. When guests are staying for extended periods, it is expected that the towels would be changed on a regular basis

The house is beautiful and very suggestive! The staff has been really nice with us and was very easy to check in, they contact us on WhatsApp to make sure our communication was as easy as possible.

Everything was great!

Swimming pool, service, breakfast places around, friendly stuff.

it was alright, there was a small kitchen with very basic facilities, but we didn’t need that.

The location of the property is excellent, right next to a supermarket and a spa and very close to ubud centre. Perfect if you want to experience local life.
