Lovely property, well-fitted, close to Kendal and shops.

Could do with a small chair in the downstairs bedroom to put clothes on.

Loved the property for its beautiful decor and having the countryside at the doorstep. Being able to park right by the front door was perfect.

The property was not as clean as I would have expected, there were several dead moths and a fair amount of dust, this is not the end of the world, I just expected it to have been cleaned before we arrived.

Good location and great views. Facilities were top notch, and the owners have refurbished the cottage to a high standard. It was fully accessible for our wheelchair user. The owner called across on the first morning to check everything was okay, a nice personal touch.

Downstairs bed was very creaky with a really soft mattress. As this was the bedroom for our disabled family member, it would have been more suitable to have a firmer mattress. An additional pull-down rail for the downstairs toilet would be helpful, to give the wheelchair user more security. All the car parking for the 3 properties was close to our cottage, and there were so many cars that there was double parking by our neighbours. The reserved parking for 1 car for our cottage was essential, but if we'd had had 2 cars, there would have been issues.
