Heri house ubud

Quiet location, garden outlook, modern room, helpful staff.

There was major construction noise 8am-6pm most of the 6 days I stayed as they seemed to be building another floor above the rooms. Too noisy for a lie in or a nap. This would be temporary but may pay to check. The bathroom has no ventilation which made the room damp. I tried every day to get some sunlight and fresh air into the room by opening the doors when I was sitting right outside but the lovely staff always asked me to shut the doors and close the curtains. Maybe they were concerned about mosquitoes but I’d rather deal with insects than a damp bed and smelly bathroom. Room was ok when I was able to get some fresh air in.

The owner gave us a lot of helpful advice and tips. She was quick at responding our messages. The staff were very kind and the room was clean. The location was great, quieter away from the busy town.

Theres flies around but can’t avoid in Bali. Would be great if host can prepare insect repellent

The walk from the Main Street to the accomodation along a narrow track with scooters going passed constantly.
