El acceso es complicado

We loved our stay at Heri House! The family that run the homestay were so helpful and lovely, the room basic but super comfortable and clean! The breakfast each morning was also really nice and the views from our patio area were great! We stayed for 6 nights and would have stayed longer! The location was also perfect away from the noise of town but only minutes away to go out and see the sights!

It was hard to find but the owners kept in touch the whole arrival day and came to meet us to show us the way so it wasn’t an issue!

I spent 5 nights at Heri House and really loved my stay here 🌸 The staff were very warm and welcoming, and even helped me organise a taxi to the airport with very short notice, and went out of their way to accomodate me paying for it with card. It was so nice to have a free breakfast every morning too, looking out at the lush garden outside my room. My room was private and quiet which was wonderful. The location is amazing, so close to the centre but has that village feel as there are rice paddies everywhere, and the Sari rice walk with loads of cute cafes and restaurants. It's great for running too, if you're a runner - in the morning or at dusk. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here :) Terima kasih!

A True Gem in Ubud: Exceptional Service & Serene Location Rating: If you are looking for a little piece of heaven in Ubud, look no further. This property is an absolute standout, not just for its physical beauty, but for the genuine warmth of the people who run it. The Service: Above and Beyond The heart of this place is the staff. Between Putu and the wonderful family who runs the property, you couldn't ask for better hosts. They are incredibly attentive, always happy, and go out of their way to be accommodating. I particularly want to highlight their problem-solving. We encountered a few minor issues during our stay—things completely out of the property’s control—and the owner handled and resolved them immediately. This level of service is rare and highly appreciated! Getting There: What You Need to Know To help fellow travelers make an informed decision, there are a few logistical details to keep in mind regarding the arrival: • Finding the Path: The entrance can be tricky to find, but don't worry—the staff will meet you on a scooter to guide you in. See image where to enter from main road. Following path up for 40 meters. You’ll get to a wall which splits the road in two. Left is a wide road and to the right a narrow pathway right next to a ring making workshop place. Follow the path up for about 100 meters and it will take you right. After approx. 20 meters, take the path left right next to (after) Heavenly Cafe and follow it down, it will take you left and keep going till the end. • The Walk-In: Access is via a very narrow, slightly rough path. If you have a large suitcase, you will need to manage it yourself. While it looks a bit daunting at first, it is actually very manageable! • Safety & Lighting: The path is not lit at night, so bring a torch or use your phone light. While the path is very safe and nobody will bother you, please be mindful that you share this narrow space with local scooters.

The room is large, the bed is very comfortable, everything is very clean, and the staff is very attentive.

It was hard to find! There were no signs along the road.

Sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern, ultra bequeme Betten, die besten auf unserer bisher 5 monatigen Reise. Warme Dusche. Das Frühstück war auch super. Und die Leute vom Hotel wirklich super nett. Dazu kommt, dass die Zimmer wirklich schön hell sind und man einen Balkon ganz für sich alleine hat. Die Klima funktioniert auch einwandfrei. Und top Lage, nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Zentrum und schönen Spazierwegen entfernt und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir können es wirklich jedem empfehlen. ☺️

Es war wirklich alles toll! Wenn es eine Sache zu verbessern gäbe wäre das höchstens das relativ schlechte Wifi Signal auf unserem Zimmer. Aber das tut unserer Meinung bei dem tollen Aufenthalt nichts zur Sache. :)
