Uzuri Kubo Huts & Kwartos

Was a really nice and quiet area. The cabin was cute. The ladies that work there are lovely.

They only use the one same tricycle driver and he was just outright scamming. He charged me 400 just to take me to white beach… less than 5km ride

- ocean front property with excellent snorkeling (free gear for guests) - free simple breakfast, with option to upgrade to local large breakfasts for very low prices (which we did every morning) - rooms are not huge but comfortable and everything worked. - scooter rental (delivered to the premises) for 500 pesos (around 8$) a day

- google maps location is correct but you are met by a 3 meter black gate, there is no sign at all. We were lucky there was a staff member nearby to confirm we were at the right place. - Most staff members do not speak english well which made our arrival a bit akward and didn’t feel very welcomed at first. However, we quickly realised that they were all very friendly and helpful! - The hotel was transparent about this but there was ongoing construction so the premises didn‘t look too nice when we were there. They are building a pool at the moment so if you plan to visit late this year or next year they will be finsihed. Then it is a 9/10 or 10/10 location to stay while in Moalboal, especially considering the low prices.

La colazione era molto semplice, la posizione è a soli 40 minuti a piedi dal centro ma sono stradine scomode, anche i tricycle non le percorrono volentieri

1. The staff were friendly and even offered to help us around the kitchen when we were cooking our breakfasts. 2. The place is quiet and the beds are comfortable so you can be assured of a restful sleep. 3. Although our stay was shadowed with cloudy days, I am sure the view of the sunsets are magical

Not a major deterrent from staying in Uzuri but it would be nice if there was a freshwater pool.

I think it's a good value for the money; the room was clean, comfortable, and had all basic amenities. The thing we liked the most was the ocean front and the views of the Pacific Ocean, and to have private access to the beach. Location is a bit remote. The internet was not good, it was intermittent; that would be the only thing to improve. Other than that, the place is good, and I recommend it.

The place is very quiet and it has a very nice sunset view. They serve complimentary extras during breakfast (Though the breakfast is not free). The room is also great with very comfortable bed. All the toiletries are being provided. I had a great relaxing stay in Uzuri.

The road going to the property remains unpaved. Though, on-going construction is being done. Also, i hope they serve more food, thought the concept of this property is a homestay vibe, not a hotel/resort operation.
