Building in general and area was fine but due to the Medina being far away by walking, taxi had to be used which can get quite expensive.

The facilities were not as advertised and we had to leave the riad due to privacy reasons. The owner came in randomly as he must have left another individual in charge before he came, we were told he was the owner. Another guy who I never met (actual owner apparently) came in and was going though the kitchen etc. making a cuppa. We were worried someone had just barged in. He would come in quite often during the first few days and this made the stay quite uncomfortable for me and my wife. The facilities were not up to scratch. I can attach photos of burnt bed sheets, stains, holes, random stitch work on bed sheets. cat poo on the floor which initially the person we were in contact with wanted us to clean. We had never left the door open or let any cat in, we were trying to find a cat. The AC downstairs didn't work and the person in contact did not help with this until we begged for a full day via whatsapp. The electrics for downstairs went out and I had to contact them to come, they came after a whole day. Lights hanging off wall in the bedroom was also dangerous. Bed was just 2 creaky single beds put together. Walls had dirty marks on them, assuming them from foot marks. Lights hanging off walls, luckily didn't fall on us based on the fact that it was barely hanging on. Downstairs AC did not work. There are so many things I can complain about but the worst thing was the fact that the owner never saw any wrong with any of this I contacted the owner about leaving early after 4 days, due to the above and especially the privacy issue. This was fine but no refund from their side. He also wanted city tax for all 7 days which didn't make sense as we were leaving after 4 days. I think he overcharged us. we paid over 20€ and we booked another hotel via booking.com for 3 days and they only charged us £5 for city tax. Highly recommend avoiding this spot. Pay more and you'll probably get more. Go to a hotel in another area. Or a decent riad.

Muhammed was exceptional, the food and decor was lovely. I wished it was a little cleaner in parts. Thanks Muhammad for being such a great host

Cleaning, no top sheet and I cannot imagine blankets are washed after each guest. Shower needed bleach too. Otherwise fine

Everything was perfect and as in pictures. :)

Mohamed was amazing. He was waiting for us by the night. Ever was respectful and polite.
