This property was very spacious and very clean. Huge balcony with visiting monkeys (be careful to keep the doors/windows locked as the mischievous monkeys know how to slide them open)! Comfy bed & pillows, good shower and nice view.

Initial communication was absolutely terrible to the point that we thought this was a scam property! The hosts asked us to cancel the booking and then contacted us personally outside of the booking.com app advising the booking was now ok - very unusual. No answer from them on asking questions prior to booking. It took two different tuk tuk drivers to find the house - even the 2nd local tuk tuk driver couldn’t find it. The house is up a very steep hill and about 30 mins walk from centre of Kandy. Tuk tuk drivers refused to take us home at night due to the very steep hill so make sure you wear comfy shoes to always walk back up it. Bring earplugs - The dogs!!! Dogs barked ALL through the night both nights that we stayed. If you don’t mind the hill or the noisy dogs all through the night then this place is good value!
