An unforgettable stay – one of the best vacations of our lives Our stay at this Sand Camp was truly unforgettable and one of the best vacations of our lives. The experiences we had there will stay with us forever. The location is magical, with beautiful Black-Yellow sand and a very special atmosphere. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with great warmth by Salem and his staff. Their hospitality felt genuine and made us feel comfortable immediately. We stayed in a tent which was very clean and well maintained. Inside the tent everything smelled fresh, and the bed was very comfortable. The toilets were also extremely clean, which we really appreciated. The entire team’s main focus is the well-being of the guests. Everyone was kind, attentive, and always helpful. The food (Dinner & Breakfast) was absolutely delicious, and the evenings around the fire created a wonderful atmosphere with pleasant conversations and a very relaxed mood. We enjoyed a desert tour deep into the desert, including a visit to the Bedouins and a camel ride. Watching the sunset in the desert was a truly special experience. Our dune drive was led by Hemed, who was an excellent and very professional driver. He drove safely and smoothly over steep dunes, and although I normally feel unwell during such rides, I felt completely comfortable the entire time. What makes this camp even more special is the incredible peace and quiet. You hear nothing at all – neither from inside the camp nor from the surroundings. The nights are calm and magical, with clear stars in the sky, beautiful candlelight, soft lighting, and a truly enchanting atmosphere. We can say with absolute certainty that we will come back again – and next time, we will stay even longer in this wonderful camp. A truly magical place.

The amount of activities available and how friendly the staff were

Was a little bit cold through the night but nothing a jumper couldn’t solve

Le lit est aussi dur qu’une planche en bois et il y a un plastique autour du matelas qui fait un bruit très désagréable. Dans l’ensemble, le prix est assez cher pour la qualité de la chambre mais c’était le 31 décembre

Le camp est très bien situé, l’accueil est particulièrement soigné, les tentes sont très confortables et le dîner est fabuleux ! Nous avons fini la soirée autour d’un feu convivial. Très belle étape à Oman.

Le prix des excursions un peu cher …

We stayed in the igloo and it was a fantastic experience in the desert. The team is very nice, the dinner and breakfast is abundant and you feel like being in a luxury hotel in the middle of nowhere. We can definitely recommend Black Sand Camp!
