Locatie echt perfect voor zowel centrum als strand! Ontbijt was goed. Vriendelijk personeel en erg gastvrij.

Algehele staat van onderhoud (binnen en buiten) verdient aandacht! Parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein vrij krap. Bij aankomst entree/receptie/ontvangst enigzins onduidelijk. Bord waarop Villa Hoog Duin staat aangegeven, staat achter de heg, waardoor het niet zichtbaar is vanaf de straat.

"Sehr schönes kleines Hotel."

mitten im Grünen, zentral, trotzdem ruhig. Man kann bei der Buchung angeben das man lieber ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss oder maximal 1. Stock möchte. Das wird lt. Hotelbesitzer auf jeden Fall berücksichtigt.

die Treppe zum Zimmer war sehr steil.

"Allgemein sehr schön"

Die Lage war top. Leider waren wir in der 2. Etage, mit viele Schrägen. Für unser alter war das leider nicht so schön. Nächstes mal, fragen wir für Paterre oder 1. Etage. Der Chef und das Personal waren seht freunflich und zuvorkommend.

Uns hat die tolle Lage in Strandnähe, sowie die historische Villa an sich fasziniert. Der Frühstücksraum war ebenfalls sehr ansprechend und in diesem historischen Ambiente gehalten. Am Buffet war für alle Geschmäcker etwas dabei. Auch Vegetarier finden hier eine reiche Auswahl an Speisen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber! Jeden Tag wurde gesaugt, gewischt und die Bäder geputzt. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitengasse vor einem Dünenwäldchen.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt nicht sehr erholsam. Bereits ab der ersten Nacht wurden wir von mehreren Moskitos attackiert. Da auch in der zweiten Nacht sehr viele Stechmücken im Zimmer waren, obwohl die Fenster nur tagsüber kurz zum Lüften geöffnet wurden, entschieden wir uns dazu, den Betreiber zu informieren. Dem war das Problem bekannt und er gab uns neben gut gemeinten Ratschlägen eine Dose Insektenspray sowie einen alten, rappelnden Ventilator. Dies milderte das Problem nur leicht. Ein Durchschlafen war weiterhin kaum möglich. Am nächsten Tag war der Körper dazu voller Stiche. Aus diesem Grund müssen wir die Ausstattung sehr kritisieren, da dem Betreiber das Problem bekannt war und keine Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern und Türen angebracht wurden.
