Tamanzi Taggs-floating home on idyllic island

Everything exceeded our expectations. Linda was an amazing host with an eye for detail which made our stay better. Mark took us on a little boat ride which was a great start to our weekend break. The freshly baked bread and muffins were just delightful . We loved feeding the swans that came to visit and honestly we had the best time with lovely weather to enjoy the outside space! Thank you for sharing our now best kept secret of paradise on your island.

Tucked away in the lagoon of Tagg’s Island, the houseboat enjoys a wonderfully tranquil setting with the opportunity to observe a steady flow of aquatic wildlife at close quarters – especially ducks, geese, swans and coots – many with youngsters in tow. Inside, the property was extremely well equipped, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Linda was a super host going ‘above and beyond’ to ensure we had an enjoyable stay - always on-hand but without being obtrusive.

My weekend stay at Tamanzi Taggs was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, Linda went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She greeted us with a warm smile and even surprised us with a freshly baked loaf of bread, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. The houseboat itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. It was stocked with everything you could possibly need, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The fridge was fully stocked with essentials like milk, butter, jams, and even infused water, and to top it all off, there was a delightful surprise of ice cream waiting for us! Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, creating a truly luxurious experience. One particularly charming detail was the duck feed Linda left for us. We had the joy of feeding the ducks and swans that swam right up to the sliding doors, which made the experience even more special and unique. The location was absolutely stunning. Waking up to serene waters and peaceful surroundings each morning was truly magical. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Overall, I can’t recommend Tamanzi Taggs highly enough. If you’re looking for a unique getaway with a welcoming host and a gorgeous setting, this is the place for you!
