GBGood location for the coast, Good access for food and restaurants Kitchen was modern, clean and a pleasant environment
1) The property suffers from damp especially downstairs, leading to an unpleasant musty smell, resulting in the need to use a dehumidifier which didn't resolve the issue. This also made the bedding smell and feel damp. 2) The third (single) bedroom is only suitable for a child and not an adult. This should be made clear in the property description as we chose the property on the basis it had three bedrooms suitable for adults. 3) The third bedroom was not clean, there were used socks and tissues down the side of the bed. There was a dirty glass and nut shells also down the side of the bed. 4) Parking was advertised for 1 small car but in reality it is only suitable for a very small car such as a micro car. It would be better to advise guests (on the web site) you will need to park elsewhere. 5) On arrival there was no hot water. 6) There was no information about the property provided which would have helped to find out how to boost the hot water, etc. There should be information about nearest doctors, dentist, etc. provided as a matter of course 7) Property is advertised with a terrace however the furniture on the terrace was unusable. It is dirty, rusty, no cushions and it didn't look well maintained. 8) There is not enough furniture in the kitchen/lounge area for four adults to sit around and eat. There are only three stools for the breakfast bar. Whilst another low table and 2 folding chairs were available this was not suitable for eating a meal. 9) Suggest more glasses are provided as there were only 3 available. 10) Recommend that the freezer is defrosted as the shelves were frozen solid 11) It would be useful to advise visitors that access is available by the downstairs door, especially when off/onloading luggage. 12) The top door was very difficult to lock from the inside.
GBThe cottage was wonderfully situated and beautifully furnished. Perfectly clean and the host is such a lovely person. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and the kitchen was very well equipped. Really felt homely.

The garden was full of stuff, and we couldn’t enjoy having our coffee in the morning, and it could have been a bit cleaner.
GBVery good location, close to town and from the cottage you can do several nice walks. We loved that the cottage is kitted out nicely. We cooked our own meals on a couple of days and the kitchen has everything. They have really optimized the space.
We loved our stay, the only (minor) downside is that the bathroom and lower level bedrooms stay quite damp. There is a dehumidifier provided.
