Heart Of Hawes Holiday Cottage

Excellent location right in the centre of Hawes. Perfect for seeing the best of the Yorkshire Dales. The beautifully clean and delightfully decorated house is opposite the very popular White Hart Inn which does delicious meals- literally on your doorstop. Communication before and during our stay was second to none. Stuart gave us all the information we needed to make our stay easy and stress free.

We had a little difficulty parking at the property due to the neighbours car. However this did not effect our stay.

This was the best cottage I have stayed in in the Yorkshire Dales. Beautiful cottage great location. Everything in it was great quality. Everything went smoothly as it should. No problems whatsoever. We only went out 1 night as it was a great place with a quaint garden that we made the most of as the weather was beautiful. So many lovely extra touches. The dog station was a brilliant idea. Loved the little tags and we didn't have a dog with us. Couldn't have wished for better the owners had thought of everything and put so much love and care into this cottage. Amazing.

It is tucked away in a quiet spot but really close to all the amenities. It’s perfectly proportioned and well presented. For Christmas it was decorated perfectly.

Owners are extremely friendly and helpful, giving local information. The location is indeed in the heart of Hawes with everything you need nearby. The cottage is large and very comfortable

information given about two parking spaces at the holiday home was innaccurate and on arrival we were greeted with hostility from the neighbour who stopped us from having access to the parking places available. Homeowner aware of historic/ongoing issues with neighbour. Neighbour blocked our vehicle in rendering us unable to go out in our vehicle for the three days we were there, we vacated a day earlier explained to homeowner why asked politely for a refund on the earlier vacation due to neighbouring issues but was insulted and ignored. We went earlier because my ill husband found an opportunity to get our vehicle out whilst he could. The homeowner was well aware of all of this. Two days prior to arriving the houseowner phoned to say the neighbour thinks he is "king of the hill". He was also aware my husband is battling cancer and did not need any more stress regarding conflict and trying to manouvre his new car between the neighbours property.We have spent many years in Hawes 30 plus and very disappointed in this homeowner. He took our money then decided to phone us .That was the issue.Had we been aware we would not have booked this.The house was constantly cold heating was on a timer we had to supply our own fuel for the logburner to keep it constanly warm for my husband as he is cold all the time with his medical intervention and treatment. Homeowner was aware of all this.Informed the homeowner to keep the money for his oscar winning role of inverting it all back to us.

The cottage was beautifully set out and very clean . It felt like staying in someone’s home as opposed to someone’s holiday let , it was just lovely , lovely bathroom and the shower was something else ! The owner kept in touch through our holiday to check things were all okay , just a lovely place full of everything you could possibly need .

Property was in the perfect location right in the centre of Hawes. Owners were very attentive looking to help out where they could. Everything done to make the property have real Christmas feel. Property very clean and comfortable with all the amenities anyone could need.
