Penny Black Apartment, Kington

The accommodation was lovely with a gorgeous selection of treats. The rooms and facilities were lovely and it was great to have on site parking plus extras such as dishwasher/ washing machine. We were in a great location to get to Hay Festival. There were helpful amenities nearby.

I would have liked a recycling bin as I felt uncomfortable putting everything in general waste. A bathroom bin for hygiene products would have been helpful. The windows road side let in a lot of noise but it was quiet at the back,

A lovely bright sunny apartment, recently refurbished and beautifully decorated. Everything supplied for a very comfortable stay and the supplies and bottle of wine were very much appreciated, Thank you. Excellent location in central Kington, on the Black and White houses trail and with lots of great walks in the surrounding countryside.

Everything was perfect - though it took me a while to work the taps in the shower (Lol)

Very central location. Everything needed was provided. Great mirrors in the bathrooms.

Traffic noise in the rooms facing the road. Small basin with shelf directly above in shower room Lack of a hand rail on the staircase to access the apartment.

Welcome pack was brilliant! Very comfy bed and sofas.

I was cold even with heater on when in living room. No heat in bathroom or even a heated towel rail made having a shower unappealing (winter stay) The method of obtaining entry on a cold dark rainy night. Would prefer keysafe on front door Difficult stairs to carry luggage up and no rail either side.

Secure, convenient parking. Close to shops when required. Well appointed, comfortable and clean appt.

More storage for provisions would have useful.
