There was dead scorpion, the porch steps are loose.

The layout of the house was amazing. Nice and spacious. I liked the fact that it was secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street. We received codes for the gate and house. We were the only ones on the property, other than the 4 deer roaming around.

Unfortunately, the house did not have any running water. When we arrived at 8PM, and looked over the property we noticed the water pressure was very low. However, within a couple of "toilet flushes", there was no more water. When we inspected the kitchen, their were rat droppings all over the kitchen drawers. It had not been cleaned and we didn't have any water to wash anything. There were even rat droppings in the master bed, between the sheets and pillow cases. I'm not sure when the house was last rented, but that was unacceptable. Caren, the property manager, did relocate us to another property since they couldn't get a plumber to fix the water issue.

The property was very beautiful and the home was nice. We enjoyed having the hot tub.

We had several issues with this property and had extremely poor communication and help from the staff. We booked this property for 6 people and yet they did not have sheets in the house for the pull out couches. I notified them we could not find the sheets and then when I later confirmed there were not any sheets where they said they should be, they ignored us and did not bring extras for the night or apologize. Additionally, the fire pit did not work. It would turn on for a second but would not catch and stay lit, despite there being plenty of propane and us using it properly. The first time we walked in the master bathroom, we noticed the floor was wet from the toilet leaking, and the toilet would not flush. We asked for them to fix it and they brought us a plunger the next day, but the water continued to leak further and the bathroom was essentially unusable. Finally, we noticed dust and trash on the floors in the bedrooms. Overall, it just gave the impression this place had not been cleaned, inspected, or prepared for us at all. Furthermore, the lack of communication and lack of help with our issues was incredibly frustrating as they would respond to our messages that they were “out of office,” despite us sending messages during the posted times that they were in office. Considering the price, I would highly suggest people look for somewhere else to stay.

The location was awesome, close to town, and a great home base to visit the 13 Texas State Parks in the area. It was a very comfortable, private 2bd/bath home, with full kitchen, laundry, hot tub and grill. Loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs watching the deer and stars.

Cozy and private. Great views and close enough to town for site seeing but just outside enough that we could relax without all the bustle of Fredericksburg. Such a lovely home.

Very beautiful house with nice view and very quite.

Someone came and fixed and cleaned the bbq grill. Thank you. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of towels.

The coffee pot was too slow. Wrong glass pot No propane for the fire place out side. Also think it may have been clogged and spit didn’t work
