"Perfect Homestay in Sapa"

10.0

We loved our stay at Zoo si Homestay with our two kids. Easy to go from sapa town with a Grab or taxi. We did a full day Hiking with De, the owner, from the Homestay to so many nice places. Food is great and breakfast pancakes are perfects. Super clean and the place is so typical. We recommend

10.0

We spent 2 nights in this wonderfull homestay and it was amazing !!!  In the middle of rice fields and in heart of nature. Our host Zee and his wife were amazing and very helpfull , the breakfast was soo good and home made. We also had the chance to do a treck with Zee and it was amazing and we had honnor to share with him this beautiful experience and listen to his family stories and discovered hidden gems of sapa 😍😍 If you are looking for a reel authentic and memorable vietnamese experience in Sa Pa it is the place to be 😍😍😍

Nothing !! It was short stay for us ! I wish i could spend more time The price was too low, it really worth much more knowing the authenticity of the place

"Beautiful accommodations with great view"

Such a great host. The room was cheap, clean and comfortable. The food was great and I really liked the location. Close enough to the center but far enough from the hustle and bustle

"Amazing stay, we recommend!"

10.0

The place was really nice. De, the owner, and his wife were really nice. He took us on a great hike and know a little bit of English. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. The location is nice because you feel in the nature but are not too far from the city centre (20-30 minutes walk depending on how fast you are going).

"Beautiful view, friendly host, but far from the center"

8.0

The host is super friendly and so quick to respond to every of our request. The view is amazing. By just staying in the room and admiring the surrounding landscape, it worths the money. The bed is cosy, we did have good quality sleep during our stay.

The room is lack of amenity like wardrobe, tivi, or cups and pitcher to drinh water. And most importantly, the place is quite far from the city centre. So it is required to rent a scooter or catch a taxi.

"Amazing Place!"

9.0

We loved our stay with Zoo Si Homestay. It was very peaceful and rustic, plus the hosts are incredibly lovely and hospitable. We felt like we were part of the family, we ended up sitting in their kitchen by the fire and watching Grandma distill rice wine. De is very warm and happy to chat, plus the food is very authentic and yummy. Note: Zoo Si doesn't come up on google maps so just ask taxi drivers to drop you next to the Cat Cat school.

They only thing is that there was a large crack in the glass window which made us feel uneasy.

"Best homestay ever!"

10.0

Comfortable place and big beds. Super nice and well maintained bungalows. The best homestay we ever had which does allow your privacy if you wish. The place has hot showers, heating and warm bedding so don't worry at all if you come in winter. The review of the cold shower is not correct as we know D the owner simply forgot to switch it on as he was sick and the guests unfortunately didn't let him know. The owner family is very welcoming.Zizi the wife is so friendly and acommodating and a great cook. It's right outside cat cat village and close enough to Sapa town but quiet and peaceful. Don't worry about getting to Sapa you can walk or take a motorbike or taxi for a short ride. The food is tasty and we recommend that you include the family meal option on your stay where you eat together with the family. Zizi provided a feast and we ended the meal with home made rice wine. D the owner speaks English very well. Definitely do the hike with him. Our highlight and D explained a lot. We made friends around the fireplace and would return to Sapa just to stay here again.

Everything was perfect and we don't always say that.

"Exceptional"

10.0

It was one of the best place we stayed during our trip. The place located very close to the city, it is walkable or easy and cheap if you take a taxi. The place was a paradise, with an amazing view, super clean and comfortable! Tasty breakfast and dinners available by request. I definitely suggest to stay there for the experience instead of hotels! Also very close to the cat cat village.

"We loved it. Thank you!"

9.0

The property is in an amazing location with beautiful views. We loved having dinner there and we slept very comfortably. We went on a lovely hike with the Homestay owner who can speak very good English!

There was some construction work going on during the day but they were very apologetic about it so we didn’t mind

"Stay with the locals! They're so kind!"

10.0

This was a fantastic place to stay! De runs Zoo Si Homestay and he is so, so kind! His family are farmers and have lived here for generations. If you're looking for an authentic homestay experience, this is it! A few awesome pieces you should know: - This place is beautiful and rustic. Like many local people, De and his family built the homes you will stay in themselves. The views of the mountains are incredible. - The wifi seems reliable - I took a work call and watched a film in the evening with no problem. - Home made breakfast is included! When I was there it was delicious pancakes with fruit with a choice of honey, sugar, and condensed milk as toppings. There is a nice outdoor terrace with a hammock and wooden tables and chairs. - De is also an amazing guide! You should definitely go trekking with him. He can take you on a tour of the local area. You can see rice fields, swim in a river, visit local villages, and he will answer all your questions about how local people live. He also used to be a guide for Mount Fansipan. If you're thinking of trekking up there instead of getting the cable car, he can take you! He is also happy to create other custom tours and can take you places on his motorbike too. - The property is conveniently located about 500 meters from the entrance to Cat Cat village. If you want to go to Sa Pa, you can hail a motorbike or taxi from the main street or you can ask De and he can call one for you. - De and his wife can also make supper for you and it's really cheap and made with ingredients grown on their farm.
