Modern City Central Studio APT

Excellent location. 1 mile or so from New Street so i could walk to it easily. I stayed for a gig and this was brilliant location for the Utilita Arena. Bed was very comfortable. Hot shower. Wonderful wifi. Responsive and helpful host.

No fault of the host but building was being refurbished so corridor carpet was paint stained and decorators operating during the day.,

Well located, had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

A mirror near a plug would be a welcome addition for drying hair.

The apartment was spacious, and there was a fan and a TV.

It was dirty. There were no teatowels, cloths or anything to wash up with. The bed is very soft, which is a personal choice, but the pillows were also soft and needed to be replaced. The bottom sheet was a top sheet with no mattress protector as well as the mattress dipping at the bottom.. The shower was dirty and more like having a bath as the water did not drain away until the shower was turned off nearly causing a flood.There was not a full roll of toilet paper and no spare. The corridors had a very strong smell of weed, and once inside, we could not close the window. There were extension leads all over the room, which are a hazard.

Good location to the Utilia Arena and shops nearby, about a 20min walk into town

Absolutely filthy, no counters were even wiped down, the floor was sticky and we were tiptoeing to avoid the dirt. Grimey substances on bathroom floor and on bed frame, bed sheets definitely not been changed.

Hot water, good free Internet

The room was filthy, the only thing that was tended to in the property was that the bed was made and 2 towels were provided, the dishes in the cupboards weren't clean, the toilet, the shower, the floors, even the asda bag in the bin was filthy! The cupboards and draws were thick with dust, the fridge had bits of food in, the mini oven / hob had food all at the bottom! We found bottle lids under the desk, fluff all over the rug. The room was a really good size and it's a shame cause it's in a handy area but the cleanliness really let it down, we messaged the host to ask if we could send pictures to hopefully get someone down to clean it but was ignored, we were informed they had free parking bays out front which resulted in us getting a parking fine! The sponge and scourer in the sink were dirty and used.. the fire alarm was broke, it had a missing spot light... for the price compared to the hardships it absolutely was not worth it we couldn't wait to get home to shower :( also wasn't provided with a hand towel for the bathroom, this property has so much potential but absolutely needs a scrub!
