Spacious and very private with a great blend of modern with retro.

Always grateful to find dog friendly accommodation and this little place was lovely. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, and had a really comfy bed, the jukebox was also a fun touch that makes the place unique. The location was really convenient for us to break up a long journey, and Dave was a great host. We also appreciated local tips about where we could go for a dog walk. Overall a great stay; we'd happily stay again.

Nothing, we really liked everything. The only improvement would be adding a microwave for the ease of reheating things, but it really wasn't an issue for one night.

Very clean and comfortable. It had a homely feel and it was a very quiet area. Loved the jukebox and Dave was kind enough to show us how to use it.

The studio was very clean and tidy. Bed was super comfortable and the shower pressure was great. Awesome, quirky studio.

I had a kaupapa in Tauwhare pā . I have a family of 5 but me and my youngest (1yrs) come to stay. It was absolutely perfect, clean , cosy, homey and much more. Although I was down for work it was such a blessing to stay here . Being a mum of 3 it was soooo lovely to wake up to a beautiful clean house , the juke box was sooo cool . The decor was just insane incredible and the whare itself provided everything me & my pepi needed. The milk and filtered water was a bonus. I loved that there was cooking oil , salt & pepper aswel as I was able to cook a Kai without needing the basics. This whare is truly a magical place . The outside lights at night were magical. The bed was just absolutely top notch and I cried going home to my bed lol. I love the books and the patu too . You have such a beautiful magical whare. I will definitely come to stay again . Perhaps kid free just me & hubby next time. Thank you for the beautiful manaaki your whare offered.

The property had a great feel to it. It was well appointed and had a nice fenced yard for our small dog. Easy to find too.

It ticked all the boxes so nothing to worry about.

Well presented, had everything we needed. Will stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the guesthouse! it's such a comfortable space with everything you could possibly need and the jukebox is great fun.

Very nice place to stay, very clean and tidy. The jukebox was a bonus. I loved listening to the old school music with a glass of wine while relaxing. The heat pump was amazing, warmed up the place in no time, thoroughly enjoyed my shower with great pressure, and the bed was very comfortable to I also love that they left a bowl of fruit and chocolates out for you. Differently give this place a 10 out of 10 to stay 😀
