Apartment on idyllic Bygdøy with free parking

Trivelig liten hybel, positivt med lite kjøkken så man kan lage litt mat. Stille og rolig område, gode bussforbindelser selv om det var et lite stykke å gå til busstoppet på ettermiddagene, gikk busser ganske ofte. Alt i alt et bra opphold.

Ikke eget soverom, og det var ikke gardiner for vinduer, så lyset kom inn veldig tidlig på morgenen. Varmekabler på bad var vanskelig å regulere, så badet var veldig kaldt. Litt sen innsjekking og alt for tidlig utsjekking, særlig med tanke på at man må rydde hybelen selv og ta av sengetøy. Litt langt å gå til busstopp, nærmeste busstopp gikk ikke bussene på ettermiddag/kveld.

IT IS A BASEMENT I have been a customer of Booking.com for many years and have generally had positive experiences with my bookings. However, this particular stay was extremely disappointing. The property is located in a basement and features a door connected to the first floor, which the renters do not have keys for. This raised significant safety concerns, as I did not feel secure during my stay, that's why after 5 minutes or so we left immediately. The property owner’s claim that guests should understand it is a basement based on the photos is unacceptable. I attempted to communicate calmly and reasonably with the owner, but it became clear that commercial interests take precedence over guest safety and satisfaction. Please note that the property is indeed located in a BASEMENT. Additionally, I recommend not contacting Booking.com by phone, as it is unlikely to result in any resolution and may incur unnecessary costs for the phone bill since you are required to call in UK. Unfortunately, I not only lost the amount paid for this booking but also incurred an additional 200 euros in phone charges due to the inconvenience caused by insufficient property descriptions, which the company refused to take responsibility for. This has been an extremely unsatisfactory experience.
