Skybar Koh Rong

Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, coole Bar in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Nicht abschrecken lassen von den Kommentaren zu "Lärm" und den "Stufen". Sicher nicht barrierefrei, aber kein ernstzunehmendes Problem, wenn man selbstständig laufen kann. Lärm ist ebenfalls, entgegen einiger Kommentare, kein Problem, da die Bar oberhalb 24:00 Uhr schließt (leider) :-).

Die Dusche flutet das Bad leider sehr schnell.

La vue est belle. Et les chambres sont correctes.

Énorme point négatif : Multiples coupures de courant tout au long du séjour. Plusieurs fois en moins d’une heure. Quand on est sous la douche l’eau se coupe ainsi que la lumière et nous nous retrouvons dans le noir. C’est arrivé également à d’autres backpackers. De plus il faut monter beaucoup de marches pour y accéder et il n’y a pas de voie pour un scooter.

The Room was not pretty clean when we been there but the staff clean up after we talk with them.

Toller Blick vom Restaurant

Wir hatten Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht. Aber da war kein Balkon vorhanden. Kein Stuhl und kein Tisch. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir freundlich erklärt das durch Umbauten der Balkon entfernt wurde. Das wars dann auch. Kein Rabatt oder sorry.

Magnifique vue et personnelle est très sympathique. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre avec une très belle vue.

Petit bémol sur les escaliers et l'accès qui se fait uniquement à pied. C''est le prix à payer pour avoir une magnifique vue.

Located in front of the main pier and the Main Street, there are plenty of bars and restaurant around. As the hotel is on top on the stairs, you don’t hear anything from the other bars at night. The room was very clean, with AC and hot water!!! The nearest beach is 20m away but you can easily go (by scooter or tuk tuk) to any other beach as the hotel is very central.

The breakfast wasn’t good (the lunch was in e though)

Despite telling my arrival time, I had to wait for 40 minutes to check in after a long day of traveling. Once the owner arrived, she seemed heavily intoxicated and didn’t even greet me or apologize. When I went back up to ask another question, I saw her shouting at the staff and later on passing out with her head on the bar. In general, the staff’s behavior gave me a bit too much the impression of substance use. This felt inappropriate, especially since there were young children around. Cleanliness wasn’t the best either. The dorm and bathrooms were hardly cleaned during my stay, toilet paper bins were full which caused a horrendous smell. I would not stay here again.

Location is great. Stairs are doable as long as you’re prepared.
