MYAbsolutely love the view from our room's balcony. Staffs are really friendly and helpful, they promptly attended to all our needs and questions. Our room has pretty good space for 2pax, clean and comfortable. It was low season during our stay and we enjoy the peace and quietness throughout our stay at HLS. Also love the dining space at the lobby area, we enjoyed an incredibly good view and fresh air each morning at breakfast. We get to select one main for breakfast every morning - loved the pho, served piping hot with a good amount of fresh greens (lettuces, basils, mints, coriander), sprouts and lemon at the side - perfect for the cool morning weather! Salads and fruits are great too. Location is fantastic too, only a short 10-15 mins Grab car ride to the town area, the cable car station and to most great eateries places.
The bathtub in the bathroom is slightly high for an elderly to climb in-out for shower. And the floor wets easily due to the construct, even with the shower curtain fully pulled in. We finally figured a way to prevent water from flowing onto the floor on Day 2. Would have much preferred an enclosed stand shower area with glass door to keep the bathroom floor dry and clean. That said, we love the hot shower with good amount of water pressure. Toiletries are also promptly replenished during our stay.

VNThis is one of the cleanest hotels in Vietnam that I have seen so that is super appreciated. Staff is very nice. I liked having a balcony, a good television, bath tub and comfy pillows. Breakfast is standard. I asked for a late check out and they were able to help me with that which I really appreciated. They even tried to give me some soy milk on the way out.
The beds are a little hard, and you can’t stand up and shower so that is to be noted. You have to take a bath or sit down with the hand shower. There is a stated no smoking policy, but I did have issues with Neighbor smoking that I had to deal with. I suggest they implement fines for smokers to discourage it. One of the best parts of about the room is the balcony and if you have an open door, you will get all the smoke. I did have an item missing from my room that I noticed at about 9 PM one night. Apparently my very old and precious stuffed animal had been taken out with the laundry and so that was a little upsetting, but I did get it back in the morning.
