Das Apartment bringt die durch die Fotos vermutete gemütliche Atmosphäre wirklich gut rüber. Für die selten auftretenden, während unseres 8-tägigen Aufenthaltes 3 mal, Stromausfälle gibt es eine große Batterie im Wohnzimmer und die WLAN-Box kommt auch einige Stunden ohne Strom aus. Der Parkwächter hat von sich aus beim Parken unterstützt und auf Wunsch sogar das Auto für einen sehr fairen Preis gewaschen. Justine, die Reinigungskraft ist ebenfalls sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Die Trompete der angrenzenden Kaserne war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber mit der Zeit hatten wir unseren Spaß damit.

The apartment is nice with a classic look and decorated as per the African culture, and each and every item provided were of high standard. Kitchen items were awesome. In one bedroom, the mattress were on the floor with mosquito net. It's very nice and my kids enjoyed it very much. Balcony is awesome with bright sunlight. On request, immediately, they provided two mosquito repellents and two toilet mugs as there were no faucet in the toilets. Kitchen appliances were branded and very nice. Clean and serviceable. The maid comes once in 2-3 days. She cleans the rooms very beautiful. But if you want daily cleaning you have to pay 20,000 Ariary daily. As told to me by the flat owner. Initially 9 big water bottles were provided and next morning they had helped us with their car to bring more water bottles and other items from the store. They had provided sufficient blankets. From the room and comfort point of view we are extremely satisfied.

Sorry to mention some drawbacks. 1. Due to electricity and voltage problems, sometimes the lift, either won't work or the doors won't open. Generally, it happens every day at 9 - 10 am. Danger, if someone is inside and the door would not open. As the apartment is on the 4th floor, lift is very essential if you are with family. My mother 79, had to use stairs twice while coming down. Luckily when we returned, the lift was OK. 2. Tana is basically located on the mountains. Location of this flat is also on a high road. If with family, they will be tired while coming back to the room. 3. The road and people on the road just outside the apartment will give you a poor village feeling and safety concerns. 4. Apartment is away from the locality. It is isolated and dark. So after evening you have to confined in rooms. You can't go for a walk etc. 5. There were no faucet or water tap in the toilets. Indeed on request immediately, they provided two mugs for the two toilets, but a good faucet system would help all types of travellers. 6. There was earthing problem in the room electricity due to which all the appliances were giving shock. It was danger. We managed some how. I had informed them. Hope they would have repaired after we left. If I think of the room, it's excellent but if I consider the surroundings, not preferred with family. Taxi you can get after walking 6-7 mnts. They charge 30 to 40,000 Ariary return fare to go to the Super Store. No any other nearby store.

Etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum Direkt neben einer Kaserne, die täglich ab 7:00 Uhr morgens zum Appell trompetet

The location was too far from shopping centre, no shop near bus

There is no breakfast provided but the kitchen has complete facilities that you can cook your own breakfast. Thats what we did we bought in score and cook for our self. The accommodation itself is same as in the picture. All the facilities is there as mentioned in the description. i like the location and the view your can see the palace and the beauty of Antannarivo. As bonus the owner is very considerate and easy to talk with. She is kind and understanding when we request for extension of stay. Overall is the best accommodation in Antananarivo and we highly recommended it

Only we walk 3mins to find the taxi, but thts not bad..atleast its not nosy of busy street.
