Great location, access was efficient and private Guesthouse was great in terms of facilities and layout, really pleasant feeling to it

Unfortunately the bedsheets on both beds were v lightly stained, looked like ink or nail varnish. Not an issue to swap to the new one in the linen cupboard but concerning and unavoidably made me double check the hygiene of the other linen etc.

Die Lage ist sehr unangenehm, shady, enge Gassen, viele Betrunkene und dreckige Gegend, verschmutzte Vorgärten.. Die Küche ist sehr dürftig eingerichtet und war nicht sauber geputzt bei unserer Ankunft. Den Garten kann man quasi nicht verwenden, da der Vermieter ebenso Zugang dazu hat und während unserem Aufenthalt da auch Bauarbeiten im Gange waren, oder Kinder draußen gespielt haben, oder Wäsche aufgehängt war. Der Gastgeber hat uns nicht über den Zugang zur Wohnung informiert, erst auf Nachfrage kam eine unvollständige Information über den Zugangscode (wie man zusperrt und wo der Schlüssel für die Innentür ist, durften wir selber herausfinden. Ebenso wie man auscheckt.) Der Fernseher ist sehr kompliziert zu bedienen und es gibt keinen wirklichen Zugang zu irgendeinem Sender, man muss private Accounts verwenden.

Very warm welcome by the owner, clean, and close to a bike path that leads straight to the city centre of Bristol. Kitchen is well equipped to cook while on holiday, but there are some great options about 5 minutes walking.

We missed having a fan to cool off since the summer temperatures warm up the sleeping area (upstairs) so you can feel a bit cooked. Then again, with the two rooftop windows opened, there is a nice airflow at night. Also missed that pool a tiny bit that was mentioned but disappeared from the listing ;)
