Beach and Green

Home from home. Had everything and more. Easy walk to Split old town. Discovered some nice restaurants in local area which made a nice change from Split old town. Beach is two minute walk from house. Lovely beach with good facilities.

I missed having outdoor space / balcony although I knew this before booking and beach area so close it worked out well.

We liked the fact that Dan and Sandra were very forthcoming in their communications, both before and during our stay. They showed that they cared about our stay and did everything to make it into a memorable experience. The apartment is spacious and very well-located. Not too far from the city center but far enough to enjoy a peaceful stay away from large crowds of tourists. It is also very close to the Firule beach, which is definitely a plus. I highly recommend the place.

location was perfect. Easy access to the beach and local bars and only 25 minute walk to the city. Host communication was excellent during booking and the arrival.

One side of the double bed mattress was a little sunken and was uncomfortable (side closest to the entrance). Also, it appeared that there was no hot water to wash up and shower - possibly the gas had run out? This was only noticed on the second day so not reported. I have every confidence that had we reported this, it would have been fixed immediately as our hosts were excellent.

Wonderful host who communicated with us before arrival and during the stay when needed. Very spacious accommodation with everything you need for a longer stay in Split, close to a wonderful beach and local amenities, perfect for a family stay.

It was our first time in Split and we found it a bit far from all the main attractions so probably best to have a car, we used Uber as it was very hot to walk far during the day.

Comfortable beds and sofa. Roomy and clean. The air con was truly appreciated as we had a heatwave the week we went. Vanda was welcoming and supplied us with essentials when we arrived. Kitchen equipped very well. Could truly relax there. Only 5 mins to beach and 20 mins to town.

I don't know of anything we did not like. Everything was supplied that we needed.

Enough beds for a group of 4-5. Superclean. Freshly renovated aprtment. Had all the necessary kitchen equipment and utensils, perfect to cook your own food if needed. And most importantly, Vanda is a really cool host🙂

At first sight we thought a balcony would be nice but it really didn’t matter after all.
