The host was – very friendly, communicative, and accommodating throughout our stay. Although we brought our own linens and towels to avoid the extra cost, the host still provided linens and towels for use free of charge.

Arriving at the property in the evening, with hot and humid weather outside, it was disappointing to find no bottle of water in the fridge and that all nearby stores were already closed. However, we were surprised by additional charges for linen and cleaning that were not included in the final price upfront. These fees only appeared in a small note at the bottom of the confirmation after the booking was completed. As a common booking.com user I found this tactic misleading. It’s disappointing to see such important information hidden—these costs should be clearly visible before booking so guests can be properly informed and prepared. This lack of transparency regarding additional charges is the main reason for our lower rating. The extra charges made up at least 50% of the booking price.
