Cosy and romantic forest house

Es war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Gerade Abends mit den vielen kleinen Lampen sehr gemütlich. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Alles in allem für das Geld gut. Wir hatten einen recht netten Aufenthalt.

Die Küche wie zum Teil das Geschirr( Pfannen) war schon sehr abgenutzt. Auch der kaputte Laminat im Wohn-Esszimmer hat das Gesamtbild des ansonsten gemütlich eingerichteten Chalets in unseren Augen getrübt. So wie der riesige Fleck auf einen der beiden Sessel. Und auch sonst kleine Schäden ( Eingangstür/ kaputte Fliesen im Bad etc ) haben das Chalet etwas verwohnt aussehen lassen.

The location was amazing, and the apartment was very cozy

The house has everything you might need, it has a well equipped kitchen, there were board games available, even a VHS which was pretty cool to see. It was very peaceful in the area most of the time even though the house is next to a road. The host responds very fast.

Unfortunately the house is evidently very old, and it didn't feel very clean. All the drains were clogged, so even just washing my hands was causing the sink in the bathroom to flood. All the towels also didn't feel very clean, using them left soemkind of coat on my hands. The bed was also quite uncomfortable, but that's also personal preference. We could bring our cat with us which was amazing, but initially when I asked the host was reluctant even though the policies of the accommodation state they allow pets. It created unnecessary stress right before our vacation. I do have to mention we were very unlucky with the weather and had to stay in the whole time, whereas otherwise we would've been out hiking and enjoying the nature. If we didn't have to spend all the time inside, we probably wouldn't have minded some of the things I mentioned.
