Maksimilijan Winery Apartments & wine tasting

A beautiful experience with a wonderful family! Quiet and peaceful but also entertaining with conversation! The entire family speaks excellent English..and 8 year old daughter is delightful! The room was perfect.as was their tasting room. It is a small family winery with some excellent award winning wines and breakfast by Grandma was superb..there are some good restaurants in Negotino..and some other wineries that serve food not so far away. We felt like we were sleeping in a cloud! And watching the stork from the balcony was incredible! Soon they will have babies!

Wonderful and peaceful location. Lovely room and very comfortable bed. Very nice and friendly hosts. Very good wine and a possibility to buy. We enjoyed the traditional breakfast and were impressed by the variety. We can really recommend Maksimilijans!

Comfortable room Very friendly and helpful staff - even though I arrived quite late. Breakfast included and car parking available You can get a tour of the winery and a tasting of some the wines while you are there. They have real wine-making talent. The quality and variety of the wines was very impressive. Some mainstream Western European grapes (riesling, chardonnay, cabernet franc) and some local native balkan grapes I wasn’t previously familiar with (vranec, temjanika). Most of the vines are mature (25 to 35 years old) which improves quality and reduces yield volume - which is complemented by a winemaking style which also commendably prioritises quality over volume. Eg they don’t fully press the grapes just use a natural extraction method to obtain lower volumes of juice at higher quality. My personal favourite was their “Secret” couvet - 60% vranec 40% cabernet franc aged for 12 months in Hungarian oak. I think this one will age particularly well if kept for a few years. If you want to buy a few bottles to take home with you (I certainly did! :-)) their prices are surprisingly reasonable for the high quality of the wines. All in all a really enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely return if I’m ever in the area again.

Huge difference between property and village where property is located. Nice snd comfortable rooms. Nice and familiar persons. Excellent vine.

We liked everything. It was very easy to find them. The young couple is running this ("Maksimilijan family") winery. They are incredibly friendly and nice. They have superb wines(especially the red ones). The room and the bathroom are spotless, the breakfast is very tasty. If I could I would have graded them 10+.

The place is quite new and the rooms looks very clean. There was a really nice owners. They spent the evening talking with us after wine degustation

Apartments were clean and cozy with available AC, TV and little fridge. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

This apartments are one of the cleanest, nicest and the most comfortable we have ever visited. The hosts are very nice and warm, very hospitable. We enjoyed the company. They also have winery within the complex, and the wine is very good! All in all you won`t make a mistake if you decide to visit this place! It is easy to find, there are traffic signs that leads you direct to the apartment complex.

Very nice Family winery. Hospitality was superb from the moment we got there. Food and wine exceptional . The room was perfect wirh all amenitys you need. Highly recommend.
