IEThe location , the animals, the pool, the room , the welcome - was all prefect. I got there early and check was not an issue. Isabelle met me later that day and offer to bring down to the town and collect me - that was so nice to a person who was a first time walker.

NLIsabelle is an extremely kind and helpful hostess who even gave us multiple rides to Odeceixe. Wonderful and peaceful spot in nature, a lot of choice for where to spend your time in the garden. Splendid facilities as we had fun using the natural pool and the kitchen.

Access via a dirt road. Own car necessary. Had to message for someone to check us in. Had booked a 4 night stay and had to request toilet paper after the first day. Two nights had loud music until late at night and early hours of the morning. Garden run down with cactus growing over into the footpath that with insufficient lighting in the evening was damaging. Messaged we were checking out and have never had a response. Mosquito's are plentiful, despite burner repellant being provided and used. Mosquito nets recommended. Not serviced. Drinking water available but outside. The access to this drinking water for others too was outside our bathroom window which was invasive of ones privacy. Although rustic, requires renovation. Very sad as the property has lots of potential and friendly hosts/owners.

BEPTThis is a very special place overlooking the river valley and near the beach. I swam in the river near where it meets the ocean, which was amazing. If you are interested in the hiking trails along the coast, this location is perfect. I stayed four nights and did different trails every day. It was easy to catch the bus to and from Aljezur, for hiking near there. The main attractions are peace, good air, a friendly host, plenty of communal indoor and outdoor space to eat and hang out, a well equipped shared kitchen. And a beautiful deck (ideal for yoga) overlooking a pond. I loved the vibe and the location.
