The Beach Hotel

Liked that the buildings and the rooms had been recently refurbished to a good standard. Loved the location, next to the sea and close to shops and restaurants. Great for access to the South West Coast Path. Liked that this was run by the YMCA to provide youth opportunities.

The staffing didn't feel to professional at times.

Location. Attentive staff. Lovely sea view. Good sized room. Nice breakfast. Pleasabt day bar.

Nagyon kedves személyzet, hangulatos tengerre néző szoba, kifejezetten nagy választék a szobában (tea, kávé, kekszek), tiszta, jó illatú ágynemű és kiadós, nagyon finom reggeli :-)

It was an excellent location with lovely views over the Esplanades. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The space for car parking was fairly small and quite tight ( especially for large vehicles.)

Breakfast was absolutely delicious and well presented. Lots of extras.

Nothing everything was perfect

Tidy spacious room, comfortable bed. Lovely toiletries to use. Good breakfast. Like the ethos of training young people in hospitality and providing a meal once a month to anyone in need in community.

Lots of stairs - were a bit of effort after a day walking on hills.

Room was airy and bright, having been newly decorated, it was tidy, cleanish, {Im a detail cleaner, so would pick up more than most, there were dust bunnies at side and behind bed, shower was pinking, in the corners} comfortable bed. Receptionist Matt was helpful and attentive. A really lovely extra, was the ground coffee and a small cafeteire. Breakfast was fabulous, continental and full cooked variety.

When we returned on our 2nd afternoon, we had waited about 15 minutes in bar/reception, before I went to find help. The Lady was "out back" chatting , hmmmmm. Another couple arrived about 10 minutes later, I advised them, they would need to "shout" for assistance. I actually went looking for the lady who came out from cleaning the toilets, with cleaning cloth in hand and straight into the bar and served the new guests a drink! Same ungloved hands that had been cleaning the toilets! She did not wash her hands inbetween.
