We found the beds uncomfortable and no dining table.

It was so lovely! A warm, cozy house with a gorgeous fireplace and access to wood and 2 heaters as well if needed! Property seemed well taken care of, has all appliances that you would need and overall a beautiful spot! Another note it was very quiet, we sat outside one night looking at the stars and it was a lovely view!

No issues apart from we found the oven took a great amount of time to heat up but not a big deal we got there in the end ☺️

Easy walking distance

Being asked to put out the bins twice only for them to come to the property and do it while we weren't there. (Did they enter the house? This felt very intrusive and like a breach of privacy.) There are no curtains in the kitchen which makes cooking unbearable due to the glass box feeling like it's cooking you instead Dirty looking bedding on the first bed we tried to stay, then the curtains wouldn't shut in the second room. Very glad it was three bedrooms because it took that look to be able to find a sleeping situation. Could definitely do with a little extra clean and attention, smelt musty from a towel that had been left in the machine. No tea either even though it was advertised as having tea.

The kitchen windows needed a clean. Slow leak in the toilet which we informed the owner about..

Easy walk into town centre.

Just one small sofa and a collection of bean bags. Not comfortable. A cold ,13 degrees and raining outside but no firewood at all.

Good location in Methven, The house is cute and has an alpine feel to it. The log burner heats up the house quickly. Instructions for entry and exit were clear and timely.

The house is compact and feels better suited to a smaller group rather than six people. There isn’t a dining table, so meals end up being eaten at the kitchen bar or on your lap, which isn’t ideal for families or groups wanting to eat together. Similarly, there’s only one couch in the lounge, so while two people can sit comfortably, others need to use beanbags or sit on the floor. Adding extra seating and a proper dining area would make a big difference for guests. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, with double beds pushed up against the walls. Upgrading the mattresses and bed linen would also enhance comfort and make the stay feel more relaxing.
