Surf Yoga Ericeira Guest House

I couldn’t recommend this hostel more! It’s hosted by the kindest people, Carlos and Vania. This was my first solo trip, and I stayed for two nights by myself and two with a friend. From the moment I arrived, Vania made me feel completely at home. 10/10 – I’ll definitely be back!

The house is amazing and it offers everything you might want to need in your stay. It’s the perfect spot to relax, and hosts Carlos and Vania are incredible people, super kind and available to help out anytime needed. Both the surf and the yoga classes were perfect, in small groups so that we really improved

Absolutely nothing

I had wonderful stay in Ericeira. The house is beautiful, full of art and plants and owned by a wonderful family. Vania has a very warm character and you can have wonderful conversations with her. Carlos is a great surf coach and made me feel safe and accompanied me to a clinic when I had a small surf accident. I had a private room (Air) with bathroom with an Ocean view balcony. It’s a pretty room that fits up to 3 people. The bed was very comfortable, I loved the pillow. There is a big planner board in the living room with the schedules for yoga lessons, surf classes, surf skate lessons and optional breakfast for the upcoming days. Everyone can sign up for what they are interested in. The house is in a more quiet neighborhood not directly in town but the walk there gets by very fast because you get beautiful ocean views the whole time. I am very thankful I choose this place for my stay and I really hope I will have the opportunity to come back and try some surf skate lessons and one of Vanias massages.

Two night stay. Staff seemed mostly disinterested in guests. No one there when I arrived. Or the following day. No breakfast or dinner available as advertised. Guests left to sort things out for themselves. I came over a holiday and were told that the staff would be “off” with limited amenities available. Perhaps bad timing, but would’ve been nice to have known in advance.

I think it was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. It is not crowded and you can relax, chill, have yoga or surfing class there. The owners are amazing. Hope I will come back soon. It is not closed to the city center, but for me it was an advantage.
