The Wheelhouse

The location of the Wheelhouse is excellent. Staff both at the hotel (especially Caz) and at the adjourning cafe, Orange Ora were very friendly and efficient. The latter allowed us to leave our bags with them before the check-in time. The food in the cafe looked delicious and was busy when it was open. There was good communication from Caz about the checking-in procedures and about getting the door code. The view from the front-facing window was stunning. We could have sat in our room all day admiring the harbours! The room was clean. We had kettle and teas. The shower was nice and hot.

In our standard room, the bathroom was very small. As someone has mentioned previously here, you have to angle yourself in a certain way to use the toilet. Shame that there was no breakfast included at the cafe.

The location of The Wheelhouse is superb: being right in front of the harbour and main street. The adjourning cafe, Orange Ora was very good. Staff at both were very friendly, helpful and professional. Our deluxe room was excellent having the best views of the harbour . It was an absolute joy waking up (going to sleep) to such glorious views of Mevagissey harbours! Our room was of a great size. The shower was nice. There was a kettle .

Nothing really. All good for us. But maybe breakfast could be included in the rate!

What a lovely place to stay. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. Great location with free parking a 10 minute walk away. We met Caz, the lady who looked after the rooms, and she couldn't have been more helpful. I would stay here again

Fantastic location, very clean .

Location on the harbour was wonderful. We had the cottage on two levels which is problematic ready for a makeover over but it was clean and tidy.

Parking for our motorcycles was a little remote but at least it was provided.
