Everything you need as a backpacker. Great beds, activities, good space to chill and hang and retreat to yourself, and everything is very clean. Also staff consists of other travelers, so overall atmosphere is great.

Tolle lage, ruhig aber ganz in der nähe von allem. Es werden einige Gemeinschaftsaktivitäten angeboten und der Café-Bereich ist sehr einladend. Sehr ruhiger Schlafsaal trotz der vielen Betten. Rollerverleih günstig möglich.

Riesiger Schlafsaal (ca 30 Betten), Klimaanlage sehr kalt, Mitarbeiter teils sehr reserviert für so ein social hostel.

Wow. Best hostel I’ve experienced in Malaysia- by a LONG WAY. Amazing staff and interesting fellow travellers to share stories and ideas with in three areas to socialise: the downstairs work/eating area, the rooftop kitchen and table, and the rooftop seating area. A beautiful spacious modern building perfectly situated in the historic old city. For me, a big YES was the crisp clean air in the soundproof 36-bed mixed dormitory, the spacious downstairs workspace, the big clean showers and toilets, and the suitably equipped kitchen on the rooftop for making own meals and saving some cash on my 10 week trip through Malaysia. Cold and hot drinks water on tap at two dispensers. An army of staff and volunteers were constantly at work keeping the floors spotless. Brilliant management of making the stay comfortable, clean, and safe. Kudos to all involved. Large two-shelved lockers outside the dorms made keeping things tidy easier. Excellent value for money. I am highly unlikely to try anywhere else if I am in Penang again. An 11/10!

The shower/toilet area was noticeably warmer without aircon but totally acceptable considering how expensive aircon is financially and to the environment. The shower tiles were shiny and slick. I wonder about user safety when wet.

I love the place. They have a very chill vibe when you come back for a day activities you can take some rest at the common area. WiFi is good , I can work here remote too. Recommended
