Fort Burt Hotel

The room was fine and the view of the bay is great.

The staff is VERY unaccomodating, from beginning to end. We stayed multiple nights and had to BUY 16oz. Bottles of water for $3.00 each after consuming the 2 bottle that were in our room when we checked in. I would think that 2 free bottles of water would be included with each night’s stay, but apparently not! My last night’s stay was double charged and to date, still haven’t seen my credit. The noise from the street below is unbearable day and night!

We spent one night at the Fort Burt Hotel following a week-long outing on a sailboat. The hotel was really cool, rebuilt from an old fort. The ladies were very nice at check-in and we were able to check in just a bit early. They gave us a great recommendation for a nearby dinner stop, just a short walk down the street. Thankfully we were wearing walking shoes, because we did walk a bit, including short inclines and stairs, to get to our room (outside access). The room was quite large, sparsely furnished, and quite comfortable.

Thankfully we were okay with the walking to get to our room, but our bags that we were carrying did get heavy and other travelers may have trouble with this location. :/ I wished they would have had some vegan-friendly options for breakfast.

Staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and attended to every day of our stay.

The room was very nice and had a great view from the balcony. Very comfortable place and had a nice restaurant called The Pub that was just a few steps away.

Amazing view, room had planty of space and breakfast was delicious. Chickens and roosters were a big plus
