Wonderful old center of Almaty

Beautiful renovated apartment with everything possible to make a perfect stay including chocolate in the fridge

The stairs, oh boy try to plan one climb per day unless you are more healthy than me

The apartment was absolutely neat and clean and fully equipped. Mr. Nurlan (The host) has taken care of minutest need of the guests and everything is available in the apartment right from thread & needle to umbrella. Kitchen is well equipped. king size bed absolutely comfortable. hot & cold water in bathroom 24/7. Location is quiet. Starbucks is right below the building. Indian restaurant Spice mantra, Money Exchange and a huge Supermarket are all at walkable distance. Host helped carry our luggage during check in & check out. IMPORTANT - Host will need you to pay upfront entire rent (which is fair) or atleast 1 day rent before he allows you to use the apartment so there is no negotiation on this part from his side. Also a depository amount which he refunds while check out. He accepts payment in Tenge or US Dollars. Our flight landed early morning & Nurlan came up to handover us the keys at 4.30 am (obviously we had booked & paid for that night). We thanked him wholeheartedly for allowing us to keep our luggage in his room after check out as our flight was in the night. Thanks Nurlan for showing this understanding. Overall we had a great stay!

The apartment is on 4th floor of the building with NO lift but thats most of the case in Almaty buildings.

Location

Perfect location (despite being on the 4th floor), spacious apartment which had everything in it: from a first-aid kit to an umbrella. There are a couple of cafes in the building, but it doesn’t smell in the apartment, which is great. The host is super supportive - I forgot the cash in a suitcase, and he still let me in and came for the money later that day. He also left a bottle of water and a bar of local chocolate as a compliment. Highly recommend this place!

It takes some time for a water in a shower to heat during the night hours.

Super clean and complete unit, convenient location. The owner is friendly and helpful. He provides everything guests need. We really appreciate that he allowed us to check out late as we have a night flight to catch.

I had a perfect stay in this wonderful apartment! It exceeded all my expectations: it was extremely well equipped with a washing machine (providing even washing powder), towels, a laundry rack, a hairdryer, a TV, a big bed, dark curtains, a large cupboard with a huge mirror, a fantastic hot shower with excellent water pressure, the best smelling free shower gel I have ever had, ... I come from Germany and for the last years I have lived in Switzerland, so I´m very sensitive towards cleanliness, so believe me if I´m saying that this was the cleanest apartment I have ever seen in Kazakhstan (and I´ve been visiting this country annually since 2016). Moreover, Nurlan, the owner was ace!

Very kind and helpful host, even helped us with findind a car rental conpany for our roadtrip. Very nice and clean flat with everything you need.

We had a very good stay at this apartment. It was comfortable and warm and clean, and everything we needed was there. Even chocolates Nurlan the owner got for us when we checked in. Location was excellent too and it was very easy for us to raom around from here. And Nurlan was always extremely kind and ready to help with whatever we asked.
