4days Apartment

Property was immaculate and close to the city centre. All transport links were on walking distance. Hostess ensured that checking-in went as smooth as possible, I was given precise details and I had little to no trouble on finding the place. Property was spacious, well maintained and was provided with all necessary amenities. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Excellent location and a comfortable stay. This was one of the best equipped short term rentals I’ve ever stayed in.

The flat doesn’t get much natural light, as it looks in the courtyard, but that’s quite usual for such buildings in Budapest.

The location is excellent. Everything was within walking distance. The building is very quiet and, except for a couple of loud people, there were no issues. It’s right in the center of Budapest and you couldn’t hear anything from outside. The apartment is very nice and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the washing machine is very helpful for longer stays.

The water heater wasn’t working very well, but the owner gave us some tips to try to fix the problem.

The apartment had a great location in the center of the city and was a 2 minute walk from the bus line to the airport. It was also very well equipped with amenities and pans for cooking. It was also very clean and spacious enough to fit all of our luggage and plenty of space to rest in-between sightseeing.

The only issue we had was that the boiler for the shower had quite a low capacity, barely enough for one person to shower at a time.

Property is located in prime spot, very close to Astoria and Deak Ferenc, you can get to anywhere from this spot very easily. Getting the key was easy and we found a bottle of water in the fridge which was a nice touch as we did not have any water with us. It was easy to communicate with the host and the location was very quiet. It faces the interior terrace and you don’t hear any noise from the street, the neighbours were also quiet. The host was very nice and hospitable and we felt welcomed. Kitchen was well equipped so it is also a good place for a longer stay (pots, pans, coffee machine, microwave, etc.) and also you have a big wardrobe and a desk to work from. It was nice and clean, bed/pillow was comfortable. Is close to supermarkets and restaurants/fast food shops, the area felt safe and well connected with trams, buses and the subway.

The heating was low the first night so it got really cold but we managed to sort it out the next nights. As recommendation, it would be good to leave the heating on higher for the guests as the rooms are interconnected and don’t heat quickly. Some areas need a bit of upkeep (e.g. the broken door from the bathroom, some plugs moving in the walls) and because the door to the bathroom does not close it is a bit of an odd situation if you’re with a friend. Also would recommend an extra blanket as we only found one and was cold the first night. But host was nice to sort out the heating issue and it was ok the next nights.
