The River House

The River House is very big! There was plenty of room for our family of five. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated, and we didn't use them, but there are two fireplaces. There is a nice outdoor space surrounded by trees.

There is no way to access the river, but that wasn't promised in the listing. There is a staircase down to a dirt road that is close to the river, but it won't get you there and is very rickety, so I don't suggest trying it. The river flows quickly in this area, so it probably wouldn't be safe anyway. You can hear the river from the house, but can't really see it.

Clean. On a river, sort of (overlooking a river from well above). Everything worked as expected. Easy to find. Good communication.

My dog didn’t like the gravel and the walkable part of the property is mostly gravel. The bed in the second bedroom was uncomfortable. The overhead rain shower was too low for me. I’m 6’2” tall and my head was just barely under it without me having to bend down.

Very clean and comfortable property for our overnight. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved the location with the little path and the Tesla charger was an extra perk. We all found the fireplace extra cozy and would definitely stay again.

It sounds stupid but we found the to too high up above the fire place. And a hot tub would have been great,especially with the views of the mountains 👍

The Riverhouse is well-equipped. You can bring your own groceries and prepare your own food or you can order door-dash delivery. The views of the Rogue River are awesome and relaxing. I booked this as a surprise for my Wife and I was greatly-rewarded. She loved it!

There was nothing I disliked at the Riverhouse.

Great location close to town, but still a bit rural with a great view of the river. The layout was nice, and the amenities offered were excellent. Excellent stay with excellent hosts.

One of the bedrooms was a tad small. The spiral staircase creaked a bit, which was a little disconcerting. We also had small children, so the lack of barriers on the staircase was a challenge.

The owners were very responsive and the property itself was kept very clean and organized.

That I couldn't stay longer!
