the fan in the living room would not come on. both bedrooms did not have a ceiling fan.

Style, Design, Rooms, everything looked so cosy and cute, i really wanted to stay longer but we only had time for one night. Definitely coming back when i would be in the area again. Hopefully one day!

This was a perfect place for my team to stay while on business. My husband and I stayed an extra day to enjoy the park and surrounding areas and had a really good time. The host, Patricia, was excellent. She was very easy to communicate with and we loved the eggs that were provided upon check in! We have to come back out for work again and will hopefully be able to book this place again!

It was very clean and accommodating with a massive backyard. The views just from the backyard are incredible. The house has everything you need.

Beautifully decorated

We were prepared for the possibility that we might encounter some desert creatures while staying in the area. However, when we arrived to the Maude House, we found large crickets in every room of the house. When we killed them, more would appear within minutes. We lost count after 15 in the first 20 minutes. The last straw was when we hit the baseboard in the bathroom while trying to kill a cricket and a group of five or more crickets crawled out. While I understand desert creatures can be hard to keep out of the house, finding so many crickets immediately upon arrival was disconcerting and felt very unhygienic, particularly around that bathroom baseboard. Luckily, the host was very accommodating and moved us to another property right away, which was very clean and comfortable, and we greatly appreciated that. I will also say that the booking process felt like overkill for a two night stay; we had to sign a rental agreement that basically read like a lease for two nights, and manually go online and submit a security deposit prior to arrival. The whole experience was a lot of trouble for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend at Joshua Tree NP.

Eclectic and fun home. Comfy beds. All the basics. Great location, just outside the less crowded Twentynine Palms entrance to JTNP.

Garden window in the bathroom is nice, but could use a shade for privacy. Bigger nightstands or a dresser in the bedrooms would be more convenient, especially for tabletop type storage.

Amazing amenities. Comfortable, beautiful, and centrally located. I'll be back.
