The pillows and robe are tired and could do with an upgrade.

The apartment was spacious, private and comfortable. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the staff were all very welcoming. The hot tub suite was private and overall the accommodation provided a good value, luxury stay for part of our honeymoon.

Birgit and David were superstars! Incredibly helpful, really really kind and nothing was too much trouble, even when we had to curtail our stay a few days early.

Our room (Room 5) overlooked the street and was rather noisy from about 06:00 on both mornings. There is still a lot of construction work going on in the area. We appreciate that there is nothing that can be done about this, but it is worth noting that if you book the suite with the jacuzzi on the terrace, you may not get the most relaxing nights' sleep. As noted by other reviewers, the mattresses could do with updating as they are very soft - which is fine if you like a very soft mattress, but not otherwise.

The room was large and very clean. Breakfast was amazing, the staff was very helpful explaining how to get around malta and even gave us an ironing machine and board upon our request. The area was very nice and the commute to valletta was very easy. The village itself was quiet and quaint but with a few very nice restaurants and a beautiful church. We recommend it if you want a relaxed,quiet place woth easy access to Valletta!
